Alexandre Gama is a Brazilian businessman and the principal head of Neogama. Gama has three decades of expertise and experience in the advertising industry. He is among the first individuals to try his hand in the global network of communication firms. Gama once served as the head of the creative department of BBH and sat on the board of the Global Creative Committee.

Alexandre Gama’s Career and Professional Expertise

Gama is a graduate of Fundacao Armando Alvares Penteado (FAAP) where he pursued advertising and communications. He served as a senior worker for companies like Standard Ogilvy, DM9, Almap BBDO, and Young & Rubicam Agencies. Through working for these enterprises, Gama has garnered sufficient professional experience and has held various executive positions and proved to be an exceptional publicist. In 2012, he joined the ABAP-Brazilian Association of Advertising Agencies. Gama also ventured into the music industry and founded VIOLAB, a Brazilian instrumental music project.

Gama established Neogama in 1999. Within three years of his insightful leadership, Neogama had grown exponentially. His company became the first to win the Lions award at the Cannes Festival. In 2002, his company partnered with BBH and Gama took over as the managing partner. Under his management, Neogama/BBH won the 2002 Agency of the Year Award. In 2012, the Publicis Groupe bought Neogama/BBH. However, four years later, the two business entities decided to run independently.
